IOF-WV Day at the Capitol
The first IOF-WV Day at the Capitol was inaugurated during the 2001 legislative session. This annual event provides West Virginia companies the opportunity to showcase the traditional industries in the state such as aluminum, steel, glass, chemical, polymer, wood, metal casting and to showcase new innovative high-tech companies. The event also provides a forum for attendees to meet with legislators and other state officials to discuss their concerns about manufacturing in West Virginia. An important aspect of IOF-WV Day at the Capitol is that the companies have the opportunity to meet in an informal setting to discuss common concerns and issues related to doing business in the State.
